Louie Age: 16 years
Seal Bicolor - Papered with CFA & born in Eureka, Alaska

Louie was toilet-trained, didn't need a leash, and followed us everywhere. He traveled all over America, went swimming, shopped & traveled all over North America. He loved going through the drive-thru to get cheesy tator tots, ice cream cones, and loved the oddest foods. He enjoyed Twizzlers, Doritos chips, Skittles, beef jerky, peanut butter & popcorn. (We obviously didn't let him eat junk food on the regular, but a little as a treat) We always let him explore what he wanted, and included him in everything. He was the most curious cat, and had such a lust for life. His story is very fascinating & he was a true inspiration. He was a runt, and his mother passed away giving birth due to complications, so we got him at 4 weeks old. We had to bottle feed him & give him special attention. After rescuing him, I developed a lifelong obsession with Ragdolls. Because of him, I looked up the breed and wanted to learn everything there was to know about them. He was my little angel and best friend until he passed away from cancer at 16 years old. :( He learned to speak many words, roll over on command, to pounce on someone or another animal on command, and to bring things to me when I asked. He was a thief, though, and loved taking things he liked and would hide them in a nest he made in my bed's box spring. He was a hoarder. lol We would regularly see him packing things around the house to get you to play with him, or he would bring you something he found interesting and wanted to share with you. He brought you gifts, or you would catch him stealing someone's socks or items, and on the run to his secret lair. He loved all animals, insects, reptiles, you name it. He never killed anything, and wanted his own pets and friends. He would adopt lizards or praying mantises & ask me if we would keep them. So I had to get cages and tanks for him, which pleased him greatly. He would pet them and gently touch them with admiration. He would adopt every baby he could, no matter the species, and even bathed them and comforted them. He was an inspiration to me and everyone who met him. He gave me such peace, admiration, and inspiration, especially when I needed it & came from such a dark past. He gave me back hope in humanity and the world. That such a little creature could show such compassion and enthusiasm, and have such a lust for life. He was smarter than this world gives animals credit for, and he showed everyone he met that. He will always have my heart & be in my memories.

In the beginning

Once we adopted Louie, we became so close to him that it sparked our interest in the breed. He was unique from any cat we have ever had, so we just HAD to learn everything we could about them. Once Louie got older, we didn't want him to have a life without love. That's when we started studding him out and went looking for a female companion.

Louie had a few girlfriends before Marie who were Siamese Sisters, but we wanted Louie to have a forever partner. So we ended up making a deal with another Cattery in Alaska & we adopted Marie. We started getting more invested in Ragdolls & we decided to become a small Cattery in Alaska. We did that with Louie & Marie until we retired them.

Years after Louie's passing, we decided to get back into breeding, this time in California, where we now live. The joy it brought to not only us, but our fur babies was such a wonderful and fulfilling experience, we had to do it again. Plus, we can't have Hepheastion miss out on finding the love of his life like Louie did with Marie. :)

We make sure our cats and kittens have the best lives possible. Animals are no different from humans to us, and we treat them with as much respect and kindness as we would another person. So, our babies are always raised with a lot of love from the very beginning of their lives.
We have a decorated nursery room dedicated to litters & the early weeks of litters. :)
